The USFSA's Skate with U.S. Basic Skills Program is a comprehensive
introduction and developmental program designed to encourage and promote
correct skating techniques. This program is for both hockey and figure
skating. Classes run for 30 minutes with a 30 minute practice session
included. A variety of classes are offered each week.
Applications are due one week before the start of each series and classes
close when they are full. Skate rental is included in the price of
enrollment. Skaters should wear warm, loose-fitting clothing. We
recommend gloves and helmets for pre-schoolers. Skaters must be three
years old.
There is a 15% family discount available for family
members who enroll during the same series.
